Kurdish leaders extend warm Eid al-Adha wishes and call for unity and prosperity

In a series of heartfelt messages, Kurdish leaders have extended warm wishes to Muslims around the world on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, emphasizing the importance of unity, prosperity, and peace.

The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Bafel Jalal Talabani, expressed his hopes that this festive occasion would serve as a catalyst for strengthening relationships and fostering unity among communities. 

He emphasized the need for a national approach to addressing issues and building a more stable future.

Meanwhile, Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani sent his congratulations to Muslims in the Kurdistan Region and beyond. 

He specifically acknowledged the contributions of Peshmergas, security forces, martyrs’ families, and victims of Anfal, wishing for a joyous, peaceful, and safe holiday season. 

Barzani expressed his desire for improved financial situations, welfare, and stability within the region, emphasizing the importance of peace and unity among different communities.

Additionally, the President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani extended his heartfelt congratulations to all Muslims, wishing for a holiday filled with peace, solace, and prosperity.

 He urged a celebration of the timeless values of freedom, forgiveness, and reconciliation, calling for a new era marked by mutual respect, love, kindness, and cooperation.
