Donald Trump’s Granddaughter Kai Makes First Political Appearance

The granddaughter of a former US president makes a big entrance at the Republican National Convention with an impassioned personal statement.

During her political debut at Wednesday’s Republican National Convention (RNC), Kai Trump—the eldest granddaughter of former US president Donald Trump—captured the attention.
The 17-year-old granddaughter of former president Donald Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa paid tribute to her grandfather in a brief but heartfelt speech.
As she delivered her moving speech, the 78-year-old Republican presidential contender couldn’t help but smile.
The occasion marked Kai’s “first time ever on a stage” and “first time ever giving a speech,” as her father gushed when she was introduced to the audience.
In her opening remarks, Kai introduced herself as “the granddaughter of Donald Trump” and said, “I’m speaking today to share the side of my grandpa that people don’t often see.

“He seems like any other grandpa to me. He sneaks soda and candy past our parents while they’re not looking. “How are we doing in school?” he asks us every single day.
“He always asks me how I’m doing, even when he’s going through all these court cases,” she stated. He is the one who constantly tells me to do my best and achieve all my goals.

He clearly has high standards, but maybe I’ll be able to meet them someday.
She further stated: “A lot of people have put my grandpa through hell… and he’s still standing.”
