Turkey has carried out 38 airstrikes in areas surrounding the Tishreen Dam, Karakozak Bridge, and southern Kobani since the beginning of the year, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
Of these, 14 were conducted using military aircraft, targeting locations such as Sarrin Airport, Tal Tefaha Hill, Tal Barkal Hill outside Kobani, Seve Hill, and the village of Bir Heso near Karakozak Bridge.
In addition to these airstrikes, 24 drone attacks were launched on areas near the Tishreen Dam and Karakozak Bridge, as well as southern Kobani. These operations have taken a significant human toll, with SOHR reporting 11 fatalities, including six civilians, and 21 people injured in Turkish attacks on the Autonomous Administration areas.
For more than a month, Turkish-backed armed groups have continued their assaults on the Tishreen Dam and southern Kobani. In response, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been actively engaging in efforts to counter the aggression and protect the affected regions.
