Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) President Masoud Barzani has said that on the 37th anniversary of the Halabja chemical attack, compensation for the victims’ families is the responsibility of the Iraqi state.
‘The wounds and pain of the Halabja chemical attack will remain forever in the hearts and souls of all Kurds and will never be forgotten,’ Masoud Barzani wrote on his X.
Barzani stated that on the thirty-seventh anniversary of the Halabja chemical bombing, they honor the martyrs of Halabja and express solidarity with the families of the martyrs and those wounded in this crime.”
