The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) addressed the incident, stating, “Although the fighting has stopped in most areas since the fall of the Syrian regime, the northern and eastern parts of Syria are still on fire due to Turkish bombings.”
Since the beginning of 2025, Turkish drone strikes have repeatedly targeted areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration in Northern and Eastern Syria (AANES), resulting in significant casualties.
