Federal Supreme Court Session Canceled Amid Judges' Resignations and Uncertainty Over Kurdistan Region Salaries

A member of the Iraqi parliament said the Federal Supreme Court did not convene today due to a lack of legal quorum, leading to the postponement of complaints regarding Kurdistan Region salaries and leaving their fate uncertain, while a source noted that six court members had submitted their resignations.
A source told Channel8 that six judges of the Federal Supreme Court of Iraq have submitted their resignations, but the resignations have not yet been approved.
The reason behind their decision is still unknown, the source added.
