The Iraqi Security Media Cell has denied reports claiming that the Iraqi Army, Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi), and Peshmerga forces have mobilized along the internal border between the Kurdistan Region and federal Iraq.

In an official statement, the cell said:

“These claims are far from the truth. There is no military movement in the area.”
