  • To verify the transparency of state employees, investigators targeted the integrity of submitted financial data. The Commission stated, "The Prevention Department carried out (159) visits to the relevant authorities... to investigate and verify the authenticity, accuracy, and completeness of the data and information contained in the financial disclosure forms."

Beyond investigations, the Commission focused heavily on preventative education and civil service compliance, conducting six specialized workshops within the Ministry of Health and major medical directorates.

FYI

These anti-corruption and transparency measures come at a time when Iraq is accelerating its transition toward modern governance and financial accountability.

The Prevention Department's latest oversight initiatives included evaluating the Transparency and Public Fund Protection Program within minority religious endowment directorates.

Furthermore, the team finalized comprehensive assessments on the implementation of the Point of Sale (POS) electronic payment system within the Ministries of Water Resources and Agriculture.

These digital and financial reforms, alongside the tracking of e-governance programs across the Baghdad Governorate, form part of a broader national strategy to eliminate bureaucratic corruption, secure public funds, and streamline state-level institutional performance.
