Italian diplomatic officials Niccolo Fontana, Italian Ambassador to Iraq, and Tommaso Sansone, Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, paid a visit to Channel8 and were welcomed by Ahmed Najm, Chairman of the Board.

The diplomats noted that the channel uses modern media technologies, which is uncommon in the region.

They praised the presence of an advanced media outlet, saying, "What Channel8 has done so far in its short lifetime is promising, and we look forward to a professional media organization solely focused on conveying the truth."

Ambassador Fontana expressed his satisfaction with the presence of an "advanced and professional media" in the Kurdistan Region and the Middle East.

Previously, Mohamed al-Hassan, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Iraq, along with British, Dutch, and Chinese ambassadors and consuls, also visited Channel8 and endorsed its message, "You Deserve the Truth."
