According to data from The Shafafiat “Transparency” Platform, the total non-oil revenue collected in October from the Sulaymaniyah and Halabja governorates, along with the independent administrations of Garmian and Raparin, amounted to 69 billion dinars.

• Total recorded revenue: 69.007 billion dinars
• Cash revenue: 60.463 billion dinars
• Check-based revenue: 8.543 billion dinars

Month-over-Month Growth

Compared to September’s revenue of 62.433 billion dinars, October saw a 10.1% increase.

Ten-Month Revenue Total

From January to October this year, the cumulative non-oil revenue from Sulaymaniyah and Halabja reached 758.941 billion dinars, averaging 75.894 billion dinars per month.

Revenue Collection Mechanism

Revenue in Sulaymaniyah is collected through six treasuries and entered hourly into the “Transparency Platform” by 828 employees. These revenues are gathered from:

• 28 ministries and departments
• 109 general directorates
• 516 directorates
• 781 offices

The Shafafiat “Transparency” Platform was launched in July 2022 by decision of Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government. It began recording non-oil revenues from Sulaymaniyah, Halabja, and the independent administrations of Garmian and Raparin.
