April Salary Distribution Begins: Over 762,000 Employees Paid via “MyAccount”
Today, the process of distributing April salaries begins, and more than 762,000 employees will receive their salaries through “MyAccount.” However, the number of salary recipients and the available ATM machines are still not balanced.
Increase in “MyAccount” Users
According to the latest data, the number of employees receiving salaries through bank cards this month has reached 762,500 people. Last month, the number was 736,000, meaning that 26,500 new employees have joined the digital salary system this month.
Distribution of Salary Recipients by Province
Employees receiving salaries through “MyAccount” are distributed across the provinces as follows:
- Erbil: 364,800 recipients
- Sulaymaniyah: 208,200 recipients
- Duhok: 179,000 recipients
- Halabja: 10,410 recipients
Number of ATMs and Employee Load
For April salaries, the number of ATMs has increased to 600 machines, compared to only 572 machines available in March. Despite this increase, “each ATM is still serving around 1,270 employees,” while project guidelines recommend one ATM for every 1,000 employees. This shortage of machines has led to congestion during salary withdrawals.
