September Payroll Preparations Near Completion

The Kurdistan Region Ministry of Finance has finalized connecting public sector employees to the electronic payroll system to prevent auditing issues in Baghdad.

Payroll work in Duhok Governorate has been completed, while treasuries in Slemani and Erbil are in the final audit stages before the lists are submitted to the Ministry of Finance.

Technical Delegation to Submit Lists

The technical delegation will officially transmit the lists to the Iraqi Ministry of Finance early next week.

The September payroll submission follows a new agreement regarding non-oil revenue deductions, reducing the risk of salary delays.

The delegation will also defend changes in the lists and work to ensure the prompt release of funds.

Baghdad Audit and Fund Disbursement

Fund disbursement will then be scheduled following the payout of Iraqi federal ministries.

This follows Baghdad’s release of August salary funds on September 14, totalling 831 billion 666 million dinars, after deducting 120 billion dinars based on non-oil revenues from the total entitlement.
