Speaking during a press conference, Interior Ministry Spokesperson Major General Miqdad Miri announced that during this 100-day period, the judiciary issued rulings against 2,157 suspects, including 59 death sentences and 254 life imprisonment sentences. 

The judicial rulings encompass 952 offenders convicted under Article 28, 837 users, and 220 international drug traffickers. 

Furthermore, authorities seized approximately 1.77 million narcotic pills alongside substantial quantities of other illicit substances, including crystal meth, captagon, cannabis, tramadol, cocaine, and heroin.

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior spokesperson announced a significant decline in major crimes during the administration's first 100 days, highlighted by a 71% reduction in tribal conflicts and a 44% drop in kidnappings across the country. 

Additionally, murder and rape cases both decreased by 13%, while numerous instances of forgery, prostitution, and theft were successfully uncovered, bringing the overall resolution rate for criminal offenses to 71%.

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior emphasized that by delivering decisive blows to drug traffickers and security threats, authorities have successfully dismantled the primary infrastructure of all illicit drug networks.

To preserve the integrity of the counter-narcotics campaign, a sweeping internal audit led to the dismissal of 38 officers and the termination of over 3,300 personnel on charges of corruption, criminal collusion, and chronic absenteeism. 

Additionally, authorities have launched an aggressive initiative to collect an estimated 6 million unregistered firearms through a rolling regulatory process to permanently suppress violent tribal disputes.
