During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Ammar Hakim, leader of the National Wisdom Movement, met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday.
Hakim said in a Facebook post that they discussed Iraqi political developments and enhancing bilateral relations, emphasizing Iraq’s political and economic stability.
During the meeting, he emphasized that Iraq’s stability positively influences regional security and urged Saudi Arabia to contribute to Iraq’s reconstruction efforts.
“We stressed the importance of maintaining dialogue among regional parties and Iraq’s desire to end the mission of the international coalition to fight ISIS,” Hakim said.
