An Iraqi soldier was killed in an attack by Islamic State (ISIS) militants in Kirkuk governorate.
Channel8 reporter Yousef Murad said shortly after iftar ISIS gunmen attacked an Iraqi army checkpoint at the village of Ziji near Wadi Shay, close to the town of Daquq.
According to information obtained by Channel8, an Iraqi soldier was killed and his body was taken to Daquq General-Hospital.
The deceased was a soldier in the 44th Brigade of the Iraqi army, and he was from Baghdad.
