84 suspects arrested in Iraq on corruption charges in February

The Iraqi National Intelligence Service said 84 people were arrested on corruption charges in February.

 The agency released a report on Sunday that stated they had carried out 236 operations in various Iraqi provinces during February.

The prosecutors said it had arrested 84 suspects in the southern governorates, followed by 11 in Baghdad.

The highest number of operations were conducted in Dhi Qar governorate, including 42 operations, while the smallest number was in Muthanna governorate, including only one investigation.

There were 11 operations in Kirkuk governorate, where one suspect was arrested.
