Iraqi Resistance targets Israeli airbase in retaliation for Palestinian attacks

The Iraqi Resistance in Iraq has claimed responsibility for launching a drone attack on the Israeli “Tel Nof” Airbase in the occupied Palestinian territories early Tuesday.

In a statement, the group stated that the strike was part of their ongoing resistance against the occupation, in solidarity with the people of Gaza, and in response to the Israeli violence against Palestinian civilians, including vulnerable populations like children, women, and the elderly.

The Islamic Resistance emphasized its commitment to targeting the enemy’s strongholds as part of their efforts. Just a day earlier, the group had announced an attack on a significant Israeli target in the occupied territories using appropriate weaponry.

Meanwhile, Israeli media reported a fire breakout in “Eilat” following sirens triggered by a suspected rocket, drone, or interceptor missile attack. Firefighting teams were promptly dispatched to the area.
