Media representatives from Iran and Iraq recently met to discuss strategies for addressing the spread of misinformation through joint committees.
During the discussions, Iran’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Farshad Mehdipour and Iraq’s Communication and Media Commission Chief Executive Ali Al-Muayad explored methods to combat fake news, particularly focusing on reducing false information that could strain the relationship between the two countries.
Additionally, the officials considered collaborating on producing authentic content to better represent both nations and enhancing digital social media networks for advanced communication.
