CBI increases cash dollar sales to $23 million per day

The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) has raised its cash dollar sales significantly compared to the previous week, reaching an average of over $23 million per day while keeping the dinar stable against the dollar.

During the last five days of the week, the Central Bank of Iraq has sold a total of $1.381 billion, with $1.264 billion already utilized and $117 million still remaining.

In the previous week, the daily average dollar sales were $276 million, with cash sales averaging $23 million.

In the currency exchange market, the dinar remained firm against the dollar, fluctuating within the range of 145,750 dinars to 145,900 dinars.
