Iraq’s oil exports in January 2024 generated over $8 billion

The Iraqi Oil Ministry announced that in January, the total revenue from oil exports surpassed $8 billion

Iraq exported 103,508,438 barrels of crude oil in January 2024, resulting in a total oil revenue of $8,025,616,000, the ministry said in a statement.

According to the statement, the total crude oil exports from central and southern Iraq’s oil fields amounted to 102,025,000 barrels, with an additional 1,019,132 barrels exported from Gayara oil field.

It added that exports to Jordan accounted for 464,306 barrels.
