According to a statement from the Turkish Presidency, the meeting took place at the Presidential Complex on Thursday.
The media office of the Supreme Judicial Council stated that the talks addressed the importance of strengthening Iraqi-Turkish cooperation in the judicial and legal fields.

As part of an international and regional tour following earlier visits to Washington and Tehran this month, Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi concluded an official visit to Ankara on Tuesday, where he was received by Erdogan.
During the summit, both leaders presided over the signing of multiple memoranda of understanding expanding bilateral cooperation across industrial property, academic police training, youth, and sports.
The visit culminated in the official launch of the $17 billion strategic Development Road Project, a 1,200-kilometer rail and highway corridor that al-Zaidi described as Iraq's "third river" linking East and West.
Joint agreements were also finalized to boost cross-border energy flows, transport logistics, and to establish a standing committee for the regular management of shared water resources.
Erdogan reaffirmed Turkey's commitment to supporting Iraq’s economic master plans, encouraging Turkish firms to invest in Iraqi infrastructure while deepening joint counterterrorism operations to secure the region.
