The Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs has officially ended the traditional method of distributing salaries through bank branches.

The ministry expressed appreciation to bank management and staff for their cooperation and coordination throughout the transition to the new digital system.

Under the new system, Peshmerga personnel will access their monthly salaries directly through ATMs rather than collecting payments through traditional bank distribution channels.

The MyAccount program is designed to provide public-sector beneficiaries, including Peshmerga personnel, with direct access to their salaries through personal bank accounts and ATMs.

Rebaz Berkoti, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Leadership Council, said a foundation of mutual understanding and respect for different viewpoints has been established, adding that recent talks have produced significant progress.

He said the constructive atmosphere can help fulfill shared responsibilities and advance institutional reform across Kurdistan Regional Government bodies in the coming days.
