Turkish Defense Ministry strikes 27 PKK targets, reports casualties

In a recent statement, the Turkish Defense Ministry announced that they had carried out airstrikes on 27 PKK targets in various regions including Matina, Gara, Khawkurk, Kandil, and Zap.

The bombing mission was successful in destroying several caves and shelters belonging to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The Defense Ministry disclosed that during the ongoing Operation Claw-Lock in the Kurdistan Region, one soldier lost his life while four others sustained injuries.

Operation Claw-Lock, initiated on April 17, 2022, by the Turkish army, is focused on the areas of Metina, Zap, and Avaşin within the Kurdistan Region.
