Six warehouses caught fire in the town of Qushtapa in Erbil governorate, and there is a risk of it spreading to car showrooms and poultry farms in the area.
Channel8 has learned the warehouse consists of several sections and all of them have caught fire, putting other properties in the area at risk.
Karwan Mirawdali, the spokesman for Erbil Civil Defense, told Channel8, six warehouses and a factory caught fire and all teams have been notified to take control of the situation.
