Duhok flood victim’s body found at Mosul Dam: official 

The body of one of the missing individuals from the floods in Duhok has been discovered in the Mosul Dam, according to Bewar Abdulaziz, spokesperson for the Duhok Civil Defense, speaking to Channel8.

Abdulaziz said that their teams continue to search for the other body.

Recent heavy rains in the Kurdistan Region caused floods in many parts of the province.

Earlier, Abdulaziz said that the death toll from the province’s floods had reached three, with two victims still not found, adding that a search team of 50 individuals was involved in the efforts.

1,240 houses were damaged, 17 were completely destroyed, more than 200 vehicles were damaged and 50 were destroyed in the floods, he added.
