A total of 41 irregular migrants, including 16 children, were rescued by the Turkish Coast Guard after they received a tip about migrants in trouble off the coast of Ayvalık, prompting immediate action.

The rescued migrants were brought to the Coast Guard Command in Cunda Island, where they received humanitarian aid.

After providing necessary assistance, they were then transferred to the Provincial Directorate of Immigration for further processing.

This incident highlights the ongoing challenges faced by irregular migrants attempting to cross borders in search of a better life.

Hatay security officials said that their forces detained 25 illegal migrants along with two smugglers who facilitated their illegal entry into Turkey.
