Recent floods in Kurdistan Region caused over 64 billion dinars in damage

The Kurdistan Region’s Ministry of Interior released an assessment on damage caused by recent flooding in the Region, determining the damage amounted to more than 64 billion dinars.

The Joint Crisis Coordination Center of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) further stated the precise figure was 64,125,225 dinars.

Three people were killed, 13 injured and 764 had to be rescued in the floods.

In addition, twenty houses collapsed, 1,821 others were damaged and 236 vehicles were damaged.
