A driver has been sentenced to three days of community service in the market for tossing garbage on one of the main streets of Erbil.
Erbil’s municipality was asked to take legal action against a driver for littering, according to a letter sent to the Directorate of Services and Environmental Protection.
The directorate decided to sentence the driver to three days of “environmental work” in response to the request.
