Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi strongly denounced Israel’s assault on his country’s consular annex in Damascus, labeling it a “cowardly crime” that will not be left unanswered.

Raisi emphasized the audacity of the attack in the face of repeated failures against the Resistance Front fighters. He accused the Zionist regime of resorting to blind assassinations in a desperate bid to salvage itself.

Furthermore, China expressed its condemnation of the Israeli airstrikes that obliterated the Iranian embassy’s consular annex in Damascus.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin decried the attack and emphasized China’s opposition to any actions that could lead to heightened tensions.

Wenbin stressed the importance of maintaining the security of diplomatic institutions, while underscoring the need to respect Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
