The White House expressed deep sorrow Monday following a deadly Israeli military strike in the Gaza Strip that claimed the lives of several individuals affiliated with World Central Kitchen, a US-based aid organization.

National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson conveyed the administration’s distress in a social media post on platform X, stating, “We are saddened and profoundly concerned by the consequences of the strike.”

She emphasized the importance of safeguarding humanitarian aid workers who offer critical assistance in times of great need and urged Israel to promptly investigate the incident.
