Iraq experienced eight earthquakes in March

 The Iraqi General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring announced on Tuesday eight earthquakes were registered in Iraq in the month of March, Iraqi News said.

The authority’s monthly report indicated 22 earthquakes in the region altogether, including 12 in Turkey, eight in Iraq, one in Iran, and one in Syria.

No casualties or damages were reported due to the earthquakes in March and the seismic activity was concentrated near Iraq’s border with Turkey, according to Iraqi News.
