The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry reported on Wednesday that the death toll in the territory has reached at least 32,975 during the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian militants.

The ministry also stated that 59 deaths occurred in the past 24 hours, with 75,577 people wounded since the war began on October 7.

In a separate development, Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk criticized Israel for a deadly strike on aid workers in Gaza that resulted in the death of a Polish citizen, further straining relations between the two countries.

Addressing Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli envoy to Warsaw, Tusk expressed concern over the incident and its aftermath, stating that it is challenging the solidarity between Poland and Israel.

Tusk’s message on X conveyed his disappointment, stating, “The vast majority of Poles stood in solidarity with Israel following the Hamas attack.

Today, your response to this tragic incident is putting that solidarity to a challenging test.” He emphasized that the attack on volunteers and Israel’s reaction have sparked justified anger among the public.
