Turkey’s General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a flood forecast for Sunday for several provinces in North Kurdistan.
According to the forecast, heavy rain will fall in Dersim, Elazig, Bingol, Batman, Mus, Bitlis, Siirt, Sirnak, the surroundings of Hakkari, northeastern Diyarbakir, eastern Mardin and southern Van.
The directorate has warned of a number of negative events that could occur, including floods, rising water levels, lightning, hail, landslides, snow avalanches, and traffic obstacles.
