Iran says retaliation against Israel ‘concluded’

Iranian commander Mohammad Bagheri said the country’s attacks on Israel have concluded and Tehran will not launch further assaults.

“We have no intention of continuing our attacks against Israel and the attacks are over,” Bagheri said.

He stated Iran hit all of its targets and claimed to have destroyed two important Israeli military positions.

“If our interests are targeted, we will respond strongly,” Bagheri warned.

Israel’s army said it had shot 99 percent of the drones and missiles from Iran’s attack with the help of the United States and other allies, declaring Iran’s attack “foiled.”

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said Tehran’s military forces have opened a new chapter in the country’s history.

“Any reaction against Iran will bring a tough response and we are ready to respond to Israel and its allies,” he said.
