The G7 leaders pledged unwavering support for Israel in the wake of an attack by Iran, affirming their readiness to implement additional actions to counter any further destabilizing actions.
“We are committed to stabilizing the situation and preventing escalation. Accordingly, we urge Iran and its proxies to halt their attacks, and we are prepared to take immediate action and respond to any future destabilizing moves,” stated the leaders in a communiqué released by the Italian G7 presidency following a virtual meeting.
