Israel considers “imminent” response to Iranian attack

An Israeli official mentioned on Monday that Israel’s reaction to the recent Iranian attack could be imminent.

Following a lengthy meeting by Israel’s war Cabinet, the official highlighted the importance of aligning the response closely with the initial attack. Various diplomatic and military strategies were reviewed during the Cabinet session.

“The response, once determined, will be in sync with the Americans,” the official stated.

In response, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian cautioned that any Israeli attack would trigger an immediate, robust, and “extensive reaction” from the Iranian regime.

Abdollahian conveyed this message during a recent call with UK Foreign Minister David Cameron, as reported by a state news outlet.

He reiterated Tehran’s stance that the attack on Israel was a legitimate response to a strike on their diplomatic building, attributing regional tensions to what he termed as “the destructive role of the occupying Israeli regime.”
