The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Jalal Talabani, has touched down in Washington and is set to engage in discussions with high-ranking US officials.
During his visit to the US capital, the PUK President plans to convene critical sessions with senior government figures to explore the political, security, and economic landscapes in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
Channel8 reports that a series of important dialogues are slated with representatives from the US Department of State, members of the US Congress, as well as various Think Tanks.
