The Civil Registry Organization of Iran has recently unveiled a positive trend in the country as the divorce rate has seen a decline after three decades.

The initial statistics from the Population Census Center indicate that Iran has experienced a slight decrease in divorce rates.

According to reports from the Civil Registry Organization of Iran, the year 2023 saw 201,468 recorded divorce cases in the country, marking a 3% decrease compared to the same period in 2022.

The report also highlights that about 30% of the divorce cases in 2023 were marriages lasting less than 5 years, signaling a decrease in marriage longevity compared to previous years.
