Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and a delegation from the KRG will visit Washington, according to a source in the United States.
The source told Channel8 that during his upcoming visit, Barzani is set to meet with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and several congressmen.
The meeting will focus on reforms within the Peshmerga Ministry and various issues concerning the Kurdistan Region.
The government delegation will also meet the US Chamber of Commerce and some congressmen, as per the information.
Meanwhile, a source in the KRG Council of Ministers told Channel8 that the Interior Minister, Peshmerga minister and the head of the Council of Ministers Diwan will accompany the prime minister.
According to Channel8, the delegation will organize its meetings in the United States according to the protocols established by the White House administration.
Masrour Barzani met with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on the sidelines of the Davos conference in Switzerland on January 17, and discussed the Iranian attacks on Erbil.
