German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock engaged in a phone conversation with her Iranian counterpart to deliberate on “the tense situation in the Middle East,” as per a statement released by the German foreign ministry on Thursday.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the ministry emphasized the importance of preventing any additional regional escalation. They called on all stakeholders in the region to pursue their actions with responsibility and demonstrate the utmost restraint.
