Iranian police arrest 96 people involved in trafficking Iranian women, girls

In a recent crackdown, Iranian authorities have apprehended 96 individuals connected to the trafficking of Iranian women and girls.

According to police spokesman Saeed Montazer al-Mahdi, the arrests targeted a vast network primarily engaged in prostitution and the trafficking of Iranian females.

The majority of those taken into custody were identified as leaders of six distinct networks and groups operating across Iran.

Among the detainees were Iranian models, with plans to expand their operations across all provinces of the country.

Al-Mahdi revealed that the groups maintained a structured operation, with international branches facilitating the movement of their victims—daughters and wives—from Iran to neighboring nations and Europe.
