Sources from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) have denied reports circulating on social media about the deportation of 58 Syrian refugees from the Kurdistan-Iraq region to Al-Hasakah through the Simalka border crossing.

This crossing connects areas governed by the “Autonomous Administration” with the Kurdistan-Iraq region.

Syrian refugees residing in neighboring countries are facing deportation campaigns after finding safety and opportunities to improve their lives.

The “Autonomous Administration” has established camps for displaced people from conflict zones, including those under regime control and areas held by the “National Army.”
