Rebwar Taha Elected Governor of Kirkuk; Mohammed Hafez Appointed as Council Head 

Rebwar Taha has been elected as the governor of Kirkuk, while Mohammed Hafez has been chosen as the head of the Kirkuk Provincial Council during a meeting held in Baghdad. 

The decisions regarding these key positions were made during a session of the Kirkuk Provincial Council, which saw the participation of nine council members.

According to Channel8 reporter Daroon Mullah Naji, the meeting was attended by representatives from various factions. 

Among the participants were five members from the PUK faction, three from the Arab Coalition, and one from the Babylon faction. 

Following the voting process, Rebwar Taha was elected as governor, and Mohammed Hafez was appointed as the head of the Kirkuk Provincial Council.
