Ahmad al-Sharaa, Syrian military operations commander, delivered a message of solidarity to the Kurds of West Kurdistan, emphasizing their integral role in the future of Syria.

"The Kurds are part of our country and they have faced a lot of oppression like us," al-Sharaa stated in a video posted on social media.

He assured that with the fall of the regime, the injustices endured by the Kurdish people would come to an end. "God willing, the Kurds will be a major part of the future Syria," he added.

al-Sharaa expressed hope for a unified and equitable Syria, saying, "We will live together with the Kurds, and we will all receive our rights according to the law. From today onwards, no oppression will be done to the Kurds. We will open a new history and a new door."

His remarks underline a vision of inclusivity and a commitment to rebuilding Syria on the foundations of justice and equality.
