Journalist Aziz Koyloglu Among Victims of January 27 Turkish Drone Attack in Raparin Administration

The Democratic Media Union (YRD) reported that journalist Aziz Koyloglu was one of the victims of the January 27 drone attack in the Raparin administration.

A statement issued by the YRD confirmed that journalist Aziz Koyloglu, who worked in both the Kurdistan Region and Rojava, lost his life in a Turkish drone attack.

Aziz Koyloglu, born in 1976 in Diyarbakır, Northern Kurdistan, began his career as a journalist in the early 2000s.

Dilawar al-Arabo, a member of YRD, and Haifa al-Arabo, a member of the Kongra Star Coordination Committee, also died in the attack.

On January 27, a drone strike targeted a vehicle near the village of Grdjan in the Raparin Administration, resulting in the deaths of four civilians and one injury.
