Syrian Education Minister to Channel8: I Have been appointed for this education task and am ready to serve Syria

Syrian Transitional Government Education Minister Mohammed Abdulrahman Turko told Channel8 that he was appointed by the Syrian Interim President and is committed to serving Syria to the best of his ability.

"I have been appointed by the president for this important task of education. I am ready to do what I can for my country and Syria," he told Channel8.

He futher said they are willing to resolve all issues and expressed confidence in finding a solution to the current problem, ensuring that bachelor's exams take place as a “right of all Syrian students.”

In a ceremony held Saturday evening at the Presidential Palace, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa officially announced the formation of the new Syrian government, describing it as “the birth of a new phase in our history.”

The ministers of the Syrian transitional government were introduced at the ceremony, where Ahmed al-Sharaa emphasized that they must address the demands of the Syrian people, work toward building an inclusive and stable state, and focus on rebuilding state institutions.
