Two construction workers died after falling while working at the Daru City apartment complex in the Qularaisi neighborhood of Sulaymaniyah city, according to a Channel8 reporter.

The bodies of the two workers, identified as Syrians, are being transferred to the local forensic office.

One victim was born in 1975, while the other was born in 2005.

According to Channel 8's information, two additional workers were injured in the incident.

In 2023, 41 construction workers died while working in the Kurdistan Region, including 25 in Sulaymaniyah governorate, ten in Erbil and six in Duhok.
