Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani officially inaugurated the Nasiriyah International Stadium in Dhi Qar Governorate today, marking a significant milestone in the region's development.

Arriving earlier this morning, the Prime Minister's visit was part of a broader initiative to launch and oversee several key projects in the area.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Media Office, Al-Sudani toured the stadium's facilities, expressing his gratitude for the efforts that led to the successful completion of the project.

He highlighted the stadium's importance in serving the athletes and youth of Dhi Qar.

The stadium, a flagship project under the Dhi Qar Construction Fund, boasts a seating capacity of 20,000 and is built to high technical standards.

Its walls are adorned with inscriptions and symbols reflecting the rich heritage of the Sumerian civilization. Equipped with electronic gates at its entrances, the stadium is notable for being the first in the region to be completed ahead of schedule, without any interruptions or delays.
