Flights at Sulaymaniyah International Airport have resumed after being suspended due to the recent conflict between Iran and Israel.

Dana Mohammed, head of communications and media at the airport, told Channel8 that airlines are currently reorganizing their schedules to restart flights to Tehran.

Mohammed noted that the suspension significantly impacted operations, leading to the cancellation of around 110 flights.

The war between Iran and Israel began on June 13, 2025, and continued for 12 days, resulting in widespread flight suspensions to several countries, including Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
