Asiacell Unveils Major AI Partnerships to Drive Iraq’s Digital Transformation
Kurdish telecom operator Asiacell announced a series of strategic collaborations with leading technology firms—including Google Cloud, Cisco, Enea, Druid AI, and Evam—to enhance customer experience and accelerate Iraq’s digital transformation.
Google Cloud Partnership
Asiacell became the first Iraqi telco to deliver Google Workspace and AI-powered collaboration tools to businesses and educational institutions. The offering includes Gemini Enterprise, Google Workspace for Education, and GoogleNotebook, designed to improve communication and productivity.
CEO Amer Sunna described the move as a milestone in providing “reliable, secure, and future-ready productivity solutions” for Iraq’s digital ecosystem.
Cisco Collaboration
Asiacell will deploy Cisco’s AI-driven Provider Connectivity Assurance (PCA) platform, enabling real-time predictive insights across its networks. The system will automatically detect anomalies, diagnose issues, and resolve problems before they affect customers. CTIO Hassan El Chami said the initiative will create a “self-optimizing network” ready for the demands of 5G.
Enea Deployment
The company has implemented Enea’s data traffic management solution to optimize video content delivery and improve subscriber quality of experience. The platform provides real-time analytics to boost speeds and manage network capacity more efficiently.
Druid AI Integration
Asiacell will use Druid AI’s enterprise platform, combining conversational and generative AI with process automation. This will enable AI agents to deliver faster, smarter, and multilingual customer support in Arabic, Kurdish, and English.
Evam Partnership
Finally, Asiacell teamed up with Evam to roll out hyper-personalized, real-time marketing campaigns across all customer touchpoints, both digital and traditional, leveraging Evam’s engagement platform.
